Look for coolant in the oil. The diagram doesn't show a temp sensor, but it does show dark blue and dark green wires going to the power train control module, so it must get the temp input from there. I jumped out the passenger side relay and the fan comes on. Try the pressure test and new cap first. Under the car, about the middle of the car, on the drivers side, theres a metal cylinder looking thing that has a fuel line in each end. I would also check your cooling fans, to do this easily turn your ac on max setting and check to see if the fans are spinning. It was the blower door motor.
What is your coolant level? Pull the thin arm on the hatch release. The weird thing is that this car has the 3 wire Engine temp.
