Since then these guys have tried to remove a few other tranny drain plugs on these trucks and no luck! The plug is in the rear of it facing the back of the truck. Keep the socket pushed on the plug when loosening. Wish i had a drain plug on my 93, such a mess changing the fluid. Not sure if it is even worth it. Should take you about 3 beers.
Pry out the end of the electric lock panel that is away from the door hinge. Start engine and check for leaks.
