It's as though we're looking at the world through Bharat's perspective. Few political moves may sound force-fitted and the opposition could have been a little stronger as they are no match to Mahesh Babu, however, these are just minor setbacks which don't hinder the film much. Mahesh Babu is always loved for his intensity and the way he has shown the intensity in media meet towards climax is exemplary. Except for the irregular pace in the narration, the director had done nothing wrong in the movie. Performances: Mahesh delivers a superb performance that his fan have been anticipating for years. A great Movie The plus point of this movie is the way movie is shot.
It is very sad that the amazing acting skills displayed by the actors go waste due to flaws in the story. Because he has stuck to the core theme, there is no entertainment angle in the film. Overall a Wow Movie for me. The transformation is gradual, brought in by his empathy with people. Credit should completely go to him for penning a story like this and showcasing Mahesh in a never before seen manner. Few scenes do remind us of Leader and Oke Okkadu Mudhalvan but that is majorly because of the genre. Playing it so safe that it is boring now.
Special mention should go to the assembly set which looks spectacular on screen. Koratala Siva's Bharat Ane Nenu Provides Perfect Blend Of Socio Political Entertainment. The youngster, who just returned from London to perform his father's last rites, reluctantly accepts the position. The hero introduction shots and traffic sequences stand out in terms of stylishness. The length of the film is also a tad long and all those who expect fun and comedy will get disappointed as the film is a serious political drama.
Mahesh's look has been designed quite well. New to India and with no political knowledge he learns the ropes quickly and governs efficiently. He has consistently proven to be a good storyteller, and with Bharat Ane Nenu, he has shown yet again that there's plenty of drama when a normal guy takes an uncommon path. His style, charm and diction are impeccable. Ajay, Rao Ramesh, Jeeva,Posani Krishna murali, Devraj got limited roles. As an Oxford graduate, he had to have a foreign touch in his dialogue delivery and he has absolutely nailed every scene of it.
Minus Points: When compared to the first half the second half gets a tad slow during the end. But Bharat ane nenu will acquaint to politics. A couple of fights, the Pressmeet scene stand tall for Koratala's ability and Mahesh's redemption. His ideology in changing the current Education system, especially in government schools having English medium and the ways to make traffic better and how Media is making money with sensationalizing news was very well shot. Tamil actor Sharat Kumar played Mahesh's father's role, Amani and Sitara played mother, step-mother roles. Aamani had a short role and she was okay. It delivers more than what it promises.
In 'Srimanthudu', Harsha was an outsider who comes equipped with the knowledge of rural reconstruction. Mahesh's role is that of a suave, young and dynamic Chief Minster- his styling in this film is unarguably his career best. Well done Koratala and Mahesh! Bharat Ane Nenu is a movie that happens in United Andhra Pradesh with Mahesh Babu playing the role of an upright, young and dynamic Chief Minister who abides by his promises for the upliftment of weaker sections, is directed by blockbuster director Koratala Siva and has Kiara Advani as the leading lady. It's time for a romantic duet here and there when she is around. Verdict: One shouldn't miss this political drama.
Mahesh has given his career best performance which is truly award winning. The failure to secure justice backfires and threatens to dent his popularity. In these days of extreme corruption and Chalta Hai attitude of the Citizen, It requires some guts for a Director to take a movie enunciating a Strict, Upright and Corruption Free Value system. When Bharat loses an important battle in the court, the way people start seeing him is utterly realistic. When you make a political film, you cannot stay away from comparisons. Posani Krishna Murali provides light humor.
Bharat Ane Nenu deserves a thumbs up for its well thought out plot and nuanced characters. Movie after movie Devi Sri Prasad is turning to be one of the key factors for success. When he fights back tears, he is immensely lovable. But once they reach that, they find a pandora's box that's filled with unfulfilled promises, expectations, and hope. Without dragging much, a simple climax ends Bharath Ane Nenu. Chandran and Tirru is top class.
